A problem-solver that loves continuous learning.

user experience designer and a tea lover!

Hello! I’m Aliana. I was born in the Philippines and I grew up in Texas. I’m a UX professional that currently works at Berkley Technology Services. I love solving problems through different research and design methods. I aim to make technology accesible to everyone by providing functional and intuitive interfaces.

Why UX design?

My desire to pursue a career on UX started when I wanted to go beyond visual design and create products that are helpful and purposeful. My biggest reward is seeing my designs positively impact users by simplifying and making their daily and work tasks easier.

I have 5 years of combined experience in freelance and professional UX/UI & graphic design. I’m an emphatetic-listener that problem solves by extensive resarch and concept creation. I learn and adapt in my environment quickly.

Tools that I use to create intuitive experiences

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Xd, InDesign), Axure, Sketch, InVision.

Side fun facts: Besides designing, I enjoy pretty and sparkly things such as florals and glitters. I also love tea, fashion, and make-up. My favorite teas are honey oolong and peach tea. I also love fun and competitive computer games 🙂
